Prophet Tabs Explained On the left side of Race
Prophet you will find a column with four tabs, three at the top and one at the
bottom of the "Horse Data", the following is an explanation of the information
in those tabs. Race Data: Shows the
horses names and post positions. The horses are listed from top to bottom according
to what we calculate to be the “best speed” for the distance of today’s race.
Along with their morning line and current odds (if you are watching a race that
is current) Horse Data: When you would like
a little more information on a horse before you make your decision, then just
click on the Horse Data tab. Here you can find "Consolidated"
information as to his age, sex, equipment changes, lifetime record at the distance
and much more. All Data Tab: This tab is at
the bottom of the Horse Data display. Click on it, it will display a "tree" of
categories whereby any information that appears in a printed copy of a program
can be found. Simply click the horses program number at the top then click the
"+" sign on a category. This is so that you can delve even deeper into the information
to separate contenders if necessary. By typing the words you are looking for in
the search bar you should be able to quickly locate any information you like. Projections:
Simply put, by averaging the most favorable fractions for the distance of today's
race, these are the horses in the order we expect that they would finish if you
didn't evaluate any other information. (these horses figure to do well, but you
should further evaluate the data before proceeding to the betting window) Results:
Again, self explanatory, this is the results and the payoff for win, place and
show as well as the exotic bet payoffs (if any). ^
