Just what is Colt Cannon's Race Prophet?

Race Prophet is a program developed by Colt Cannon. It contains many features, exclusive to Race Prophet. Race Prophet uses inexpensive single file format comma delimited files from Brisnet and TSN (requires membership). It performs many complex calculations that you might do yourself, but the complexity prohibits most from attempting it. 

The main function of the program is to calculate and display the most accurate speed indicator--- the Feet Per Second traveled by a horse----and to also divide the race up into it's different fractions. In addition, it displays everything in the form of bar charts and it sorts them by either post position or by value, so that is extremely easy to look at a chart and find the horses that should perform best today. With the click of a button you can compare horses for early speed, late speed, fitness, class differential and you can easily see how the horses compare. One other very important byproduct occurs from using this program , your handicapping will become consistent. Inconsistency is a financial killer for most handicappers.

Who is this software for?

Anyone. It's difficult for me to say whom it impacts the most. We have many complete novices that start winning right away, and I hear from long time handicappers that love the fact that they found a tool that they can easily plug their knowledge into.  Even if you consider yourself an expert handicapper, try it before you discount its importance, you just might be surprised. After all, experts and novices use printed versions of racing forms, and of course the experts do better than the novices. The same should naturally occur with Race Prophet, but I believe "novices" will be surprised at how well they do from the very beginning.

So all I do is bet your picks?

We don't make the picks--- You do! And even if your a novice, you will be making them like an expert in a very very short time.

Whether your an expert with years of experience or your new to horse racing, you should think of the Race Prophet as an extension of yourself and your abilities to handicap. It frees your mind up from the tedium of mathematics and repetition and puts you into that artistic mode of finding the winner. 

Race Prophet is not a “methodology” it’s a tool. We do not teach a strict method of using it. Race Prophet allows you a way to implement your way or your methodology of handicapping.

 Using Race Prophet and betting 2 horses to win, novices have told us that they win approx. 50% of their bet races, intermediate handicappers may  win a larger percent and advanced handicappers can win an even higher percentage.
